LDR 10 mm Photo Resistor

Description

LDR or Light dependent resistor is a low cost sensor device which responds to visible light. As the intensity of the light falling over LDR increases, it’s resistance decreases while the resistance increases if light falling over LDR decreases.

Applications:
• It can be used in alarms like fire alarms, smoke alarms etc.
• It can be used to control street light to automatically turn on street light at a certain light level.
